South Lanarkshire Carers Network

Currently approximately 1 in 7 of the Scottish population provide care and support to a family member, friend or neighbour. Many people don’t recognise themselves as Carers. You don’t have to be related to, or live with, the person you care for. Carers come from all walks of life, all cultures and can be any age. When you become an unpaid Carer, it might be hard to know where to start. Coping day to day and responding to the needs of others can be difficult.
